Package: squid
Version: 2.5.8-1
Severity: important

I just upgraded squid from 2.5.7-8 to 2.5.8-1. The first time dpkg
tried to configure it, the postinst effectively hung, with
/usr/lib/debconf/frontend still running (and squid on the other end of
the pipe, presumably, though I didn't check). Rerunning

    dpkg --configure squid

worked, but should not have been necessary.

I believe you can avoid this problem by calling db_stop before running
invoke-rc.d (or perhaps even afterward, but before is probably safer).
