Package: electric-fence Version: 2.1.14 Severity: normal I ran gdb set environment LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/debug set environment LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libefence.so exec-file xterm run
In the new xterm, I ran ds9& Then I started up IRAF while ds9 was running (this is probably irrelevent). ds9 took longer than usual (as expected), but eventually I got: ElectricFence Aborting: Internal error in allocator. tv> lo ^^^^^^ This line is IRAF, and I'm giving the command "logout". [1]+ Illegal instruction ds9 My personal stack is about 3 levels deep in bug reports right now, so I'm probably not going to remember to follow up on this for a while. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9Y Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages electric-fence depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
