Package: electric-fence
Version: 2.1.14
Severity: normal

I ran gdb
set environment LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/debug
set environment LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libefence.so
exec-file xterm
run

In the new xterm, I ran ds9&

Then I started up IRAF while ds9 was running (this is probably
irrelevent). ds9 took longer than usual (as expected), but eventually
I got:
ElectricFence Aborting: Internal error in allocator.

tv> lo
^^^^^^ This line is IRAF, and I'm giving the command "logout".

[1]+ Illegal instruction ds9

My personal stack is about 3 levels deep in bug reports right now, so
I'm probably not going to remember to follow up on this for a while.
