I have been packaging most of my software (xconvers, cwdaemon, xlog
and xdx) as debian native. I have done this to make life a bit easier
for myself, so I don't have to keep track of both package versions and
debian-package versions. Also, I don't want to keep tar.gz files along

As far as I can see, happydigger is maintained in Debian by its upstream
author.
In such case, there is no strong enforcement to either request to package
the software as a native or non native Debian package.
So, only common sense should apply here. I gue
