Package: webmin-nis Version: 1.180-1 Severity: normal
Enabling ypserv by setting 'Enable NIS server?' in edit_server.cgi and pushing 'apply' does not update variable NISSERVER in /etc/defaults/nis, so I had to manually edit that file to start NIS server. I have not checked the same thing with slave configuration. It's a really minor bug, but it's daunting if one can't access via ssh the server he's configuring ;) Sergio -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26-1-386 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages webmin-nis depends on: ii nis 3.13-1 Clients and daemons for the Networ ii perl 5.8.4-8 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii webmin 1.180-1 web-based administration toolkit ii webmin-core 1.180-1 core modules for webmin ii webmin-inetd 1.180-1 inetd control module for webmin -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
