I don't see a lot of K3b-specific errors in the log you added however, so I
wonder if the errors are coming from somewhere else instead. Have you tried
other cd burning frontends (like gnomebaker for example) ? Have you tried
using c

I think this bug is still here with K3b 0.12.15 on Etch with KDE 3.5.2,
and obviously makes some problems with USB devices.
