Hi,
This bug was submitted upstream too as bug 14661 [1]. I submitted a
patch [2]. Applying it would be very helpful for visually impaired
people.

I checked your patch and its looks great. I would keep to it apply
against new upstream v

Hi,
the latest menu.lst provided with grub is very nice commented; but I miss
some very useful / blindfriendly extra: a beep code sos that a blind knows
always that he/she is at the grub boot: prompt.
Please can you provide such a beep
