Package: jumpnbump Version: 1.50-2 Severity: important The man page jumpnbump(6) and the files in /usr/share/doc (README, README.Network) describe the command-line option -net which seems to no longer work (it didn't work for me). The game's web site says that it's part of the old networking code that uses UDP.
The options -server and -connect which did work for me (they are part of the new TCP networking code according to the site) are not mentioned in the documentation. They are only listed in the brief help that can be obtained using the -h option. The working status of the -port option is also unclear. It is thus likely that a user who doesn't dig things up wouldn't be able to play via network, which is a substantial loss of functionality for this game. Hence the severity `important'. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-nka15 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages jumpnbump depends on: ii imagemagick 6:6.0.6.2-2.4 Image manipulation programs ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libsdl-mixer1.2 1.2.6-1 mixer library for Simple DirectMed ii libsdl-net1.2 1.2.5-3 network library for Simple DirectM ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.7+1.2.8cvs20041007-5 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii python 2.3.5-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-glade2 2.6.2-1 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gtk2 2.6.2-1 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
