Hi Shaun, I have just removed all the gcj and SwingWT related stuff and cleanly reinstalled the packages from testing. Now everything is right and works, thank you. As you said, I think it was a problem with the version of the libraries I used, as I had both libgcj4-dev and libgcj6-dev installed.
