Package: mozilla-thunderbird Version: 1.0.2-2.sarge1.0.6 Severity: normal When I receive an email with the Windows-1250 charset, I cannot change the font; it is rendered with my default font (which happens to be a Courier imitation with broken hinting and looks appalling) rather than the fonts I have specified for any of my character sets. This is aggravated by the fact that it seems to be impossible to use fontconfig to convince Thunderbird that this font doesn't exist.
In any case, there's only one choice, "Western", in the font configuration that presumably covers ISO8859-1, Windows-1250, US-ASCII, and maybe others. I would be content if its settings applied to all the listed character sets.
