As a quick-fix, try recompiling the source code with poll rather than
rtsigio. Simply replace --with-engine=rtsigio from the configure line
using --with-engine=poll instead.
RT signals are great but the API is quite disgusting and falls back
to poll if the internal queue overflows anyway.
