Just a note to add to the bug report - the problem is also apparent in the icons on pop-up dialog boxes. It seems highly likely that the root cause of this lies with one of the GTK1 libraries, rather than the gnucash package itself. Though ISTR reading an email in which a harassed sounding gnucash
