reassign 342198 scim-gtk2-immodule 1.4.2-1 thanks I can reproduce this bug. As scim just finished the libstdc++ allocator ABI transition, I suspect the reason of the crash is something in gaim is using old C++ ABI. Will investigate further. Thanks for reporting. Ming 2005.12.06 -- To UNSUBS

Hi, I re-checked the log of my system. At last, I find there is an upgrade of scim (especially, scim-pinyin). After I downgrade all these scim packages, this problem is solved (1.4.2-1 to 1.4.1-1). So, I believe this may be due to the new versions of scim packages. Sorry for this wrong bug rep
