Package: nfs-common Version: 1.0.10-6 Severity: important rpc.statd -p 900 -o 901 does not work in etch (it does in sarge). The reason is that rpc.statd changes its uid to user statd and therefore is not allowed to open ports < 1024. Workaround: rpc.statd runs as owner of /var/lib/nfs/sm which
