Hi. It would be really nice if you could add the resize inode with
e2fsprogs, as online resizing is immensely useful, but sadly most
distributions don't create file systems that are ready for it by
default.

Any progress on this? Most of my filesystems are with the resize
FYI,
I've just recently checked code into the e2fsprogs repository so that
resize2fs will check to see if the filesystem is mounted, and if so,
use the kernel ioctl's to do an on-line resize. So we now have
effectively ext2online's functionality merged into resize2fs. This
will be in the next re
