Package: alacarte Version: 0.8-3 Followup-For: Bug #358012 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
I noticed this bug and it's easy to work it around. Once you open the file browser, close the New Entry dialog behind it. It seems the parent dialog is modally blocking the file browser. Go figure. The good thing is that now you can pick your file. But, you say, the New Entry dialog is gone. Indeed, but if you open it again from the menu, just as before, it will spawn with the file entry as per your last selection in the file browser. Just a workaround, I know. - -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15-ck5 Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages alacarte depends on: ii gnome-menus 2.12.0-2.1 an implementation of the freedeskt ii python 2.3.5-5 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-glade2 2.8.2-3 GTK+ bindings: Glade support ii python-gnome2 2.12.3-2 Python bindings for the GNOME desk ii python-gtk2 2.8.2-3 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-libxml2 2.6.23.dfsg.2-1 Python bindings for the GNOME XML ii python-xdg 0.15-1 A python library to access freedes alacarte recommends no packages. - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFENSyz823633cP2P8RAr8eAJ4qmzRfrRuk78bD6cCcEzZAbNqm4QCfTsbV znIugiPp6SXvugaMFAlx9qQ= =Ehds -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
