I am having the same problem here.
A user is accessing a cyrus21-imapd (version 2.1.17 taken from Debian,
running on Adamantix). After killing the older imapd the user can again
access the sent mailbox. The remote user is using Evolution 2.4.0 on a
SuSE 10.0 machine.

Approximately once per month, one cyrus-imapd process hangs when a user
tries to store a sent message in his sent mailbox. This user is using
Thunderbird 1.0.7 as his mail client.

Just make sure you keep the [EMAIL PROTECTED] address on the CC list (use
reply-to-all) and it will do the right thing :)

Hmm. Well, if the user's computer is sync'd to NTP and so is your server,
you could ask him to note down the time when he noticed the hang, that'll
give you the datapoint (it will be just a log timestamp comparison away)...
