Hello Martin,

your bug ist still open. I try to clean up the long buglist of icedove.
You bug is now reassigned to icedove.
As I can see nothing happend after your bugreport and it is quite longe
ago you opened the bug. For me this behavior is no more exist, because I
have no problems with "y "Umlaut" in my name (Schönert). :) It works for me
since icedove 2.0.x.

To be sure we can close this bug I will ask after all this time, do you
have this behavior still in the current version you use? If not the bug
can be closed.
