Package: x11-common Version: 1:7.0.14 Severity: serious To smooth upgrade, x11-common should also Conflict with the old version of xnest. This broke an upgrade here. apt-get install -f then upgrades xnest, so I guess something else make it believe that is necesarry, too. But I guess with a Conflix that would not have happened.
