Package: xen-tools
Version: 1.6-1
Severity: wishlist

I used the description from
http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/396 and everything is very
much plug'n'play, even for xen beginners. However, when I

# xm create gerd.cfg -c
Using config file "/etc/xen/gerd.cfg".
Error: Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Backend device not found.

(for detail see a full description here:
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2006-06/msg00694.html)

It was very hard too find out what went wrong from here. After several
hours I found out that I had to create also a bridge manually on the
host (see here
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2006-06/msg00695.html)

Could the bridge be setup automatically or at least a message left to the
user in showFinishedInstructions of xen-create-image that one has to
setup a bridge?
