Package: gossip Version: 0.12-1 Severity: normal For some reason, gossip does not play the sounds for events such as receiving a message, or a contact coming online or going offline. This has been the case since version 0.11. I have traced the excecution of the program and the calls to gnome_triggers_do at the end of the gossip_sound_play function in src/gossip-sound.c are being made.
