The missing parameter is crc_itu_t: (dmesg output) rt73usb: Unknown symbol crc_itu_t This symbol is part of the module crc-itu-t. See http://lkml.org/lkml/2006/6/22/166 for the module source code. I suggest that the missing module crc-itu-t should be packaged for debian or available in the debian 2.6.17 linux package. I am using Linux mepis1 2.6.17-1-686 #1 SMP Sat Jul 29 15:32:47 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux and libc6 2.3.6-7. I got the issue while trying to install the drivers of my D-Link DWL-G122 rev.
