Package: samba Version: 3.0.23b-1 Followup-For: Bug #382429 Samba fails to detect network interfaces here: ERROR: Could not determine network interfaces, you must use a interfaces config line
However adding an "interfaces" line didn't particularly help either. It helped for smbd, but not for nmbd AFAICT. This is an amd64 box, just like the other report of this bug. Maybe it's an arch thing? Interfaces are unchanged default installation, DHCP. ifconfig lists both eth0 and lo, "ip addr show" is clean... Nothing special, no firewall was harmed during making this bug report. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-rc4 [... removing the other information, since I'm writing the bug on a different machine and don't want to manually verify all the other version numbers. It's an unstable as of today. ...] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
