severity 382779 wishlist thanks This problem also appears in libtemplates-parser (see #380615) and only occurs if /bin/sh is dash. The shell script that builds the documentation has nothing obvious that should succeed with bash and fail with dash. There is a simple workaround: use bash.
Downgrading severity to wishlist ("add support for dash").
