Package: qps Version: 1.9.15-1 Severity: normal Qps does not behave like a normal application on the KDE desktop (3.5.4), but instead runs in the KDE systemtray. Also, the application iconizes to the systemtray whenever the user leaves the current KDE desktop (qps is still running, so it's not like 'ksystray --quitonhide'). To see the application window, the user must click on the systemtray icon, rather than simply returning to the desktop where Qps was originally invoked.
Nothing in the Qps documentation suggests it should behave this way. On Sarge (on i386, kdebase v3.3.2), Qps in fact runs as a normal application. Also I have found no (documented) provision within KDE for a user-controllable list of applications which are forced into the systemtray.
