no, I used swat some years ago to initially create the smb.conf, but since
then all my changes were done by hand.
Maybe I should remove the comment in the smb.conf to prevent further false
traces.

thank's for this hint, I noticed you added my bug to 383307.
I took a look in my old backups and there my smb.conf contained:
passdb backend = smbpasswd guest
no commas, but after the installation there appeares one.
May it be possible there is some kind of migration which put
