the bug was fixed adding gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 to the dependencies
of last-exit, but the fluendo plugin is released under terms of the
MIT license and is written as a substitute of the mad plugin, released
under terms of the GPL license

Somehow I had gstreamer installed without the mpeg plugin, so last-exit
was unable to play any songs. I discovered this by running last-exit
