Package: pykaraoke
Version: 0.5.0.dsl-1
When trying to run pykaraoke, python hangs. After some time, the following is
message displayed:
tcp_connect: can't connect to server (tcp:192.168.0.1:57712)
I guess the package works on a machine with such ip number, but it shouldn't
hang anyways. I suspect this might be a python-pygame bug.
Workaround:
You can make it working by issuing command (via root):
ifconfig lo:1 192.168.0.1
