After reading the email from Chris McRaven above, I checked my
dbus-1-utils version and found that it was 0.23.4-8, which was
probably pulled in by the package liferea when I installed it quite
some time ago.

I observed the same problem as the previous post with package versions
0.2.1-1 and 0.2.1-1.1, but I was able to overcome the problem by
installing the `dbus-1-utils' package (version 0.94-1). F-spot started
