For the record: obviously nothing is written by accident... I was attempting to follow the Abraham Lincoln method to blunt my own sometimes contrary disposition -- write it, if it's contentious, leave it in a drawer a few days, then reread it. Still feel like sending it? If not, don't. So I didn't.
