Package: poppler-utils Version: 0.4.5-5.1etch1 Followup-For: Bug #399082 Hello,
The poppler-utils version of pdftops produces ps files which do not print on the Xerox 3500DN phaser. The xpdf-utils version of pdftops applied to the same pdf file produces a ps file which does print. So, IMHO either poppler-utils in etch should be fixed or cupsys should depend on xpdf-utils rather than "xpdf-utils | poppler-utils". This has been suggested in the previous report as well. The diff between the ps files produced is attached.
