Package: d4x Version: 2.5.7.1-4 Severity: important This feature is supposed to show an "add new download" dialog as soon as I copy the URL of some files (depending on their "extension") from other applications, but it doesn't, despite it *is* activated in the settings.
Actually I upgraded from sarge to etch, where I used version 2.4.1 which worked fine w.r.t. this feature. Additionally: 1 - If I copy a URL from a terminal (e.g. urxvt), then manually call the "paste from clipboard" button, it steals and nullify the selection so that I don't have any more any selection to paste in ! (looks like a race condition with selecting the URL in the dialog) 2 - If I do the same but from firefox, the selection is kept intact though I still have to call for the add dialog manually. (I know by experience that firefox is also stealing the selection sometimes -> here we have a selection war which firefox wins) -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages d4x depends on: ii d4x-common 2.5.7.1-4 graphical download manager - commo ii libao2 0.8.6-4 Cross Platform Audio Output Librar ii libatk1.0-0 1.12.3-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcairo2 1.2.4-4 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.4.1-2 generic font configuration library ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-19 GCC support library ii libglib2.0-0 2.12.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.8.20-3 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.14.7-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8c-3 SSL shared libraries ii libstdc++6 4.1.1-19 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.0.3-3 X11 client-side library ii libxcursor1 1.1.7-4 X cursor management library ii libxext6 1:1.0.1-2 X11 miscellaneous extension librar ii libxfixes3 1:4.0.1-4 X11 miscellaneous 'fixes' extensio ii libxi6 1:1.0.1-3 X11 Input extension library ii libxinerama1 1:1.0.1-4.1 X11 Xinerama extension library ii libxrandr2 2:1.1.0.2-4 X11 RandR extension library ii libxrender1 1:0.9.1-3 X Rendering Extension client libra d4x recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- Hope this helps, Fabien. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
