Hi,
This has built on squeeze, wheezy and sid so is clearly not FTBFS any more.
I can see the code was patched upstream in version 1.34 (no ChangeLog
available; upstream's SVN isn't accessible any more).

Hi,
the current version fails to build on GNU/kFreeBSD.
rsync.c uses value for errno, which is not defined
on GNU/kFreeBSD. Please choose another one from
basic POSIX errors for signaling protocol error.
