Hi, This is bug #368779, for libxul0d, not really the fault of epiphany. Basically, those sites you describe declare themselves as being encoded in iso-8859-x, when they really are windows-125x. Firefox/Iceweasel and most other browser have simply given up on such sites and simply treats
