The export functionality has been reshaped a lot in version 5. You can
choose the pictures to export in the main window, so all filtering
options (e.g. tags) can be used to display and select the desired items.

Hi,
The only way to select pictures in digikam when one wants to upload them
to a web gallery is by name. It doesn't even show the picture when one
clicks it; but more importantly, it's impossible to select pictures
based on their score,
