Package: qpopper Version: 4.0.5.dfsg-0.1 Severity: important
When the user's quota in /var/mail has been exceeded, qpoppper fails to copy its temporary copy of the mailbox back into /var/mail. Sometimes the mailbox ends up with just less than 10MB of NULs at the beginning. The 10MB may be related to the users's quota (in this case the hard quota was 10MB). This does not happen all the time but I have had a few in the last week (we have lots of users but only a few are over quota). -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: powerpc (ppc64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages qpopper depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgdbm3 1.8.3-3 GNU dbm database routines (runtime ii libpam0g 0.79-4 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libssl0.9.8 0.9.8c-4 SSL shared libraries ii postfix [mail-transport-agen 2.3.4-3 A high-performance mail transport qpopper recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
