Package: fop Version: 1:0.20.5-5 Severity: normal
When trying to run /usr/bin/fop on a server which currently has no X server running, it fails with the following error message: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.InternalError: Can't connect to X11 window server using ':0.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable. at sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment.initDisplay(Native Method) at sun.awt.X11GraphicsEnvironment.<clinit>(X11GraphicsEnvironment.java:125) My current work-around is to add export JAVA_OPTS=-Djava.awt.headless=true to the /usr/bin/fop script. But it would be nice if this worked out-of-the-box on debian.
