Hi Michael, Do you still reproduce this problem with the latest Xorg/Etch? Could you try the Mesa 6.5.2 packages that are in experimental? Also, it would be better to see a gdb backtrace than the output of valgrind. To do so, you could install libgl1-mesa-dri-dbg and run trackballs within gdb.
