Could you please do us a favour: File a bug at https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/. Let us know the bug# for adopting. I can't help at the moment, sorry, but I hate that nVidia bullshit. And if you check the followups at alsa-bug you can report success to the Debian BTS! That's what I would do, but _YOU_ have a nVidia chip handy, not me.
