Hi,
If yes, can you run
'vlc -vvv --color --no-plugins-cache --list |grep ffmpeg'
Does it show half a dozen ffmpeg module ? Or do you have some yellow
errors at the top about "cannot load module ..... libffmpeg_plugin.so
...."
You're right :) :
[00000001] main private warning: cannot load module
`/usr/lib/vlc/codec/libffmpeg_plugin.so' (/usr/lib/libpostproc.so.0d:
undefined symbol: postProcess_altivec)
[00000001] main private warning: cannot load module
`/usr/lib/vlc/stream_out/libstream_out_switcher_plugin.so'
(/usr/lib/libpostproc.so.0d: undefined symbol: postProcess_altivec)
Is there a workaround for this bug? On my ppc, vlc does not play video
and I have also the two "cannot load module" lines.
Downgrading all ffmpeg packages to -4 shows indeed half a dozen lines
for ffmpeg, however vlc does not still show the video.
For info: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=412214 seems
to be the same bug.
Cheers,
