This might be caused by the LSB function deleting the pid file too
early. This is a bug in lsb-b
Package: nagios2-common
Version: 2.6-2+etch1
Severity: important
nagios2 fails to start cleanly (some of the time) due to an apparent
race condition in the 'restart' target for /etc/init.d/nagios2.
most other daemons in /etc/init.d/ use a call to sleep
between the calls to 'stop' and 'start' with
2 matches
