Package: qemu
Version: 0.8.2-5
Severity: normal

Always get "Could not open '/dev/kqemu' - QEMU acceleration layer not
activated.

This message may or may not be true. I have experimented with the
permissions of /dev/kqemu and sudoing the qemu run to no avail. Set up a kqemu
group for such
purpose.

I may have had it work correctly after reinstalling kqemu-source and
modprobing that module. Just once. After that, message resumed so may have
been a fluke.

Note: I am not using udev.
Note: I get two notifications (verbose) of modprobe kqemu on bootup. I am not
sure
what script is setting it up but there are several if_up scripts of some
purpose connected with qemu which modprobe kqemu. If left to their own
function, they would create /dev/kqemu root:root 660 (run as root
somewhere).
Note: Thought realtime-lsm might effect this. Does not. Thought a realtime
preemptive patched kernel might effect this, again, does not.
