Package: zzuf Version: 0.8.1-1 Severity: wishlist It would be nice to have an easier way to save fuzzed versions of input files in order to reproduce crashes. I'd suggest two options, one for when to save input (always, for certain signals, never) and another for a directory to save them in. This would be a really useful way to automate finding more bugs. The output files could be named something like hotfuzz-zzuf0.8.1-r0.04-s12345.avi, where hotfuzz and .avi are the existing parts of the filenames.
An option to delete output files in certain circumstances (always, when a bug is found or never). An option to keep iterating through seeds until the end of the range, ignoring any bugs until the range is completed and then printing a report at the end. An option to protect certain strings (using hex/ascii). This would be useful for files that are essentially container formats and have specific internal filenames that shouldn't be played with. For example windows help formats (decompiled by helpdeco). -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
