Package: console-data
Version: 2:1.07-5
Followup-For: Bug #417850

Installed kbd and reconfigured console-data so that it would
reinstall the br-abnt2 keymap, and it's fine.

And what happens when you re-re-install console-common?

After apt-get --reinstall install console-common

...the capslock key functions normally.

If any further info would be helpful, I'd be happy to try
troubleshooting if I
can be told what to try....
