As I understand you right you are not able to see the complete name of attachments in your icedove? Or not all of the attachments visible? I can't reproduce this problem on icedove in squeeze (3.1.6) and wheezy (10.0.4-1). Do you still have theses problems? What about your second described problem with the attached mail in another attached mail? Still around in the actual versions?
