I stumbled upon this nasty bug in exactly the same way as the reporter: * have module-init-tools pre11-1 installed, and modutils * try to install m-i-t pre11-3 * this conflicts with modutils, so modutils is removed * but also, m-i-t pre11-3 fails to install, so i downgrade back to pre11-1 Here i
