Hi, I also several times meet with the same problem in Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10, which uses the same version of genisoimage package - 1.1.6. The same error message during genisoimage run: Unexpected joliet directory length and the same problems, like described in debian bugs #429244 and #430558 :

I have the same problem here, i just discovered it because i found out that all the data dvd i burnt since now are unredeable by windows and dvd/divx player. I usually burn them using growisofs from terminal with the following command: $ growisofs -dvd-compat -speed=2 -Z /dev/hdc -J -R -pad
