Package: synergy Version: 1.3.1-2 Severity: important The problem that synergy may not be working the right way could well be one of the formerly hidden bugs in several X clients that are brought to the light by the new libX11. I think one of the X maintainers has written up a blog post that describes this in more detail. I'll follow up with that if I manage to find it.
To the problem itself: It is as if synergy only acts when there is some mouse movement or keyboard input. The reason for this bug to be important is that this also involves network code. synergy will only connect or accept connections when there is activity on some input device. Really sucks if there are machines involved which have synergy as their only input device.
