Package: bastille Version: 1:2.1.1-13 Severity: normal Bastille puts the following in /etc/hosts.allow: ALL : ALL : spawn (/usr/sbin/safe_finger -l @%h | /bin/mail -s "Port Denial noted %d-%h" root) & : DENY This doesn't send any mails for 2 reasons: 1) /bin/mail doesn't exist, it's /usr/bin/mail. Fix: Change line 69 of /usr/lib/Bastille/SecureInetd.pm to the correct path. 2) safe_finger doesn't work without finger, which wasn't installed on my system A little note "You need to install finger for this to work" would be great
