licensed under the GPL version 2 or later. OpenSSL license is
incompatible with GPL, as known by many.

* remove or rewrite the said Affine code
* remove OpenSSL support when building
* try to use GNUTLS compatibility with OpenSSL
* replace OpenSSL with GNUTLS or NSS, rewriting SSL/TLS support
