Not a WM issue, but a Sylpheed-Gtk one.
It can be reproduced with a number of more stable WMs.
Perhaps I need to use a non-Gtk mail client with a non-Gtk WM.

I can reproduce this problem in Twm, Aewm, Saphire, but not Xfce4.
Sylpheed could be depending on a bug in Xfce4.
